On March 26, 2012 Sichuan Tianyi Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Sichuan Tianyi) announced that the commercial scale-up test of a co-poly (ether ether ketone) project (CoPEEK Project) of Panjin Zhongrun Special Plastic Co., Ltd (Panjin Zhongrun), jointly established by Liaoning Zhongrun Industry Group Co., Ltd and other two companies who owns the concerning patented technology, has run smoothly for half month and reached the designed capacity of 1 000 t/a CoPEEK for the first phase.
Sichuan Tianyi, designer of this project, announced that it is responsible for the scale up design of patent to technology, and achieved commercial product ion successfully, which breaks the long-term blockade of monopoly of the Western countries for CoPEEK products.
It is reported that besides CoPEEK, Panjin Zhongrun has several other products patents for high-end specialty engineering plastics.
