On March 25, 2012 Jiangxi Lee & Man Chemical Limited (Lee & Man Chemical) held a groundbreaking ceremony in Ruichang, Jiujiang of Jiangxi province for its chlor-alkali chemical projects. This project has a total investment of RMB6.5 billion, among which RMB 5.5 billion are for fixed assets investment. The project is designed to annually produce 300 000 tons of caustic soda, 300 000 tons of PVC, 120 000 tons of methane chloride, 100 000 tons of tetrachlorethylene, and 50 000 tons of hydrofluoric acid every year. This project also matched terminals, thermal power stations and other public facilities. It will achieve annual revenue of RMB10.6 billion and tax of RMB1.96 billion after full operational.
