Silphobic 90 is fine particle hydrophobic silica.
Silphobic 90 contains larger than 2 % chemically bound carbon and is therefore
not wettable by water. The wettability of Silphobic 90 with methanol is approx.
50 % and indicates its highly hydrophobic character. Silphobic 90 can be used
as anti-caking agent and is also suitable to be used in a great variety of
defoamer.
